Atlantis 2008 – 2nd International Conference
The 2nd International Conference on the “Atlantis Hypothesis: Searching for a Lost Land” served as a forum for the presentation and constructive discussion of all the subjects related to the hypothesis of the lost land of Atlantis as well as all the relevant theoretical issues.
The purpose of the meeting was to gather specialists of all the different disciplines involved in highlighting the scientific aspects of this fascinating theme.
Greece was the most appropriate location for hosting this conference, as the ancient Greek great mind Plato formulated the Atlantis hypothesis.
Three years have elapsed since the 1st International Conference on the Atlantis. Hence, not only has this allowed for enough time for people to recollect thoughts on the subject, but also there were strong indications that a possible revolution was in the making.
This was an ideal opportunity to learn about Atlantis and discuss new findings. The conference was held in Greece at the National Hellenic Research Foundation in Athens on November 10th / 11th, 2008. In addition a pre-conference tour was available on Sunday 9th of the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi which lies at the foot of Mount Parnassos.

I have read about the many places said to be Atlantis but they don’t show hard evidence such as advanced artifacts from a advanced civilization. I have discovered a truely most ancient advanced civilization and have collected artifacts for 5 years and now I would like for the world to know about this incredible discovery. I live in West Virginia USA along the 2nd oldest river n the world–The Ancient Teays River second only to the Nile River and I am convinced these rivers were connected during Pangea and Atlantis existed between where these rivers departed. I have overwhelming evidence.The local authorities have suppressed and ignored this discovery and refuse to examine not one artifact. I believe they are collecting and studying the artifacts themself. Not only will we be able to answer question of Atlantis but also who built the SPHINX and PYRAMIDS. I do not have money to get the artifacts tested or examined so I just study them. I want to work with a partner or organization who will get the artifacts examined with a agreement. I am sad that I did not find information about the Atlantis International Conference until it was to late to submit a paper. Can you please help me get the artifacts examined an dated.
